While taking this product, meals should consist of rice with cooked vegetables and small amounts of buttermilk. Pitta-provoking foods like chilis, tamarind and excess salt should be avoided. Rock salt, ghee, and balancing vegetables like sweet potatoes and kale can be eaten. A gentle cleanse of kitchari for a week or so is a great option while taking Guggulutiktakam.
Common dosage is 1 – 2 tablets once or twice a day before food or on an empty stomach.
